Hotel lesisure facilities, beauty spas, two golf courses all under 1 mile.

Reviews
The cottage was excellent value for money overall. It has been thoughtfully renovated and had every facility we required, although the television signal was repeatedly lost for some reason. Grange over Sands is a lovely little town, very clean and with friendly locals, but very hilly outside the town centre. We would recommend the cottage to others.

Excellent location for exploring southern lakes. Plenty of walking direct from cottage. Plenty of ammenities in village of Grange-over-sands.

Grange-Over-Sands is a seaside town in Cumbria, England, south of the Lake District. It is located within a few miles of Lindale, Cartmel, Allithwaite, Arnside, and Witherslack and is one of more than one hundred towns and villages in Cumbria in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest cities are Lancaster (population 45,952), Carlisle (population 71,773), and Liverpool (which has a population of 469,017 according to the 2001 Census).
Originally a fishing village, when the railway arrived during the 1800s, Grange-Over-Sands was transformed into a popular tourist location, notes for its sandby beach overlooking Morecambe Bay. It represents a great place to stay if you're looking for a holiday which is both by the sea, and also near the Lake District and fells for walking.
